Maxie Joe Parrish of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Wednesday, May 1,2019. He was born in Austin, IN, August 22, 1933 to the late Wesley and Nellie (Helms) Parrish.

He was a graduate of Washington HS and a Korean War Veteran in the United States Navy. He was a foreman for Smitha PTG for 40 years retiring in 1996. He was active in coaching little league, a scout master and active in the community as well as vice commodore of the white river yacht club. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Patricia Ann (Donnelly); Sons, Michael A. and James P. (Mia); Grandsons, Seth, Alex, Zach, and brother Marvin (Jean), as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Monte.

Arrangements by Indiana Funeral Care. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
